On Friday 26th January, the school organised a charity mufti day to raise money for the charitable organisation Freedom4Girls, a group that strives to tackle the global issue of period poverty. This includes providing menstrual products to those who may struggle to get them, and running educational programs to break down any stigma surrounding periods- it is a human right for all to have access to menstrual products and live with their periods confidently and safely.

Not only did the money raised directly support Freedom4Girls' efforts, but Challoner’s also, in support of this initiative, educated students in the school about the problem of period poverty and how we as a community can do our part in helping those less fortunate.
