400th Anniversary Campaign - Phase 1 Completed
We are delighted to announce that we have now completed Phase 1 of our 400th Anniversary Campaign to create a new Student Support Centre at the heart of Dr Challoner’s Grammar School. The purchase and renovation of 149 Station Road enables us to move across various of our support staff and teaching school hub to our new premises, thus freeing up space internally for the next stage of our plans.
About Phase 2 - Can you help us?
Our ambition now is to ensure that our Student Support Centre has the very best facilities to benefit our students. Our pastoral and education support staff will be co-located for the first time, allowing a truly holistic approach to student support which takes into account their situation and any special educational needs, whether these have been formally diagnosed or not. The new centre, located in the heart of the school will have its own external entrance, allowing students to be directed to the right place where they can receive tailored support in a suite of dedicated spaces. Designed with openness in mind, these spaces aim to take away the stigma of asking for help.
In order to help us furnish and decorate these spaces, we are seeking your help. Please do click on the ‘donate now’ button at the top of this page if you are able to support us. Alternatively, contact our Development Director, Mrs Clare Atkinson via email: clare.atkinson@challoners.org.
