Challoner's Connected will give you access to a global digital network, rich with skills, experience and knowledge as well as the opportunity to keep in touch with DCGS and give something back to your community.

Helping You

The Challoner's Connected platform allows you to search for what you need, based on what other members of the community are able to offer - from careers advice to interview technique; from internships to reviewing your CVs. Or maybe you simply would like a chat to hear how someone has progressed their career over time.

The Directory tab offers a detailed search function using the questions you answered on registration. You can find other members by:

  • Their willingness to help
  • Current position
  • Industry or Company
  • Degree subject and leaving years

The Directory ensures that you only ever connect with those who have volunteered to help you with what you need.

You can:

  • Send a message to another user who is willing to help via their profile page on the Directory
  • Use the Updates tab to as for specific support. Maybe you are working on a project and after some independent advice, or you are going on a work placement overseas and looking for some local knowledge

Sharing Your Knowledge

Your skills, experience and knowledge can help younger generations of the Challoner’s community, whatever stage of your career you are at. Whether you’ve just completed an internship/placement, completed your training or have years of experience, your advice is invaluable. To do this, do ensure that your profile is an accurate representation of you. Do remember to:

  • Update your profile (via the ME tab)
  • Add a professional summary
  • Sync your updated Linkedin information
  • Add your previous employment history
  • Update the ways in which you are willing to help other members of the Community
  • Upload any roles at your workplace onto the Jobs board to find other members of the Community who share the values and ethics of DCGS

Find and reminisce with fellow classmates; see what they have been up to and stay in touch:

  • Use the Directory or Updates to find lost friends and classmates
  • Find all the DCGS School news and social media in one place via the News tab
  • Receive regular updates from us, together with invitations to events you may be interested in.
