On Friday 7th October the lower school celebrated Junior Prize giving. An address was made by Carl James and Tom Picton, old students from Class of 2005, who shared their experiences of life since leaving Challoners, including a trip around Europe and Africa in a 4 X 4 down the east coast and back up the west coast. They urged students to enjoy their time here by embracing the exceptional teaching and ample opportunities that are offered.

There were 97 prize winners across all the year groups who were recognised for excellence, and effort and progress, as well as their contribution to school music, and drama. In addition there were prizes for effort in work experience, community service and student voice for Year 10 students. The thirteen outstanding sporting achievements for 2010-2011 were also announced which acknowledged students efforts in competing at National and Regional levels.

The audience were entertained by the cast of Henry V who performed a scene from the highly successful summer play.
