In late June, the band 'Crows and Arrows' performed at their fundraiser: Gig in the Garden. The band consists of Charlie, Richard, Soren and Wolf, a group of friends from Year 8. The aim was to raise money for the National Youth Music Theatre as Charlie has been successful in gaining a place this year and is now raising money so that children can access the same opportunites. His bandmates decided that they wanted to help out, leading to the Gig in the Garden.
They did brilliantly, especially considering that they were only able to start rehearsing seven weeks ago due to COVID restrictions. They raised £2,300 for this great cause, which covers the cost of one child's fees.
