All kitted up on the Astro, floodlights on, Mr Agius and the Sixth Form were ready to referee for Challoner’s first 2019 house event! The matches were very competitive, with lots of tough challenges and everyone wanting to win!

Monday saw Year 7 in a tight fight for first place, with Holman and Pearson tied on the same number of points in first place. The final places were settled on goal difference with Holman coming top by just one goal! Foxell came a credible third.

Year 8 competed on the following day, with Pearson claiming first place, and Holman and Thorne taking second and third (in their respective orders). Year 9 played on Thursday. It resulted in Pearson again taking first, Thorne claiming second, and a joint third between Newman and Holman.

We would like to thank the PE Team and the Sixth Form who hosted the event, along with all of the brilliant hockey players playing for their houses.
