Over the lockdown period, Alexander Deakin-Radkov spent time creating this beautiful artwork. Here are his thoughts on what he did.
I drew the animals and the dragon from Mulan during the first lockdown and I drew the skull in October half term.
I used different techniques in my drawings. With the wolf, I did a cross-hatching pattern on the outline. With the others, I drew them using a pencil and shaded them using pen or I coloured them in.
I used ideas from different artists for my pieces. For example, I got the idea of the sheep from Henry Moore (1898-1986) because he liked to draw the sheep in a field near his house.
