This week, the Art and Graphics Teams held their annual open exhibition of GCSE and A Level work from this year’s students. This exhibition is a chance for the hard work over the two-year courses to be seen by staff and students from the school and other members of the local community.
A huge variety of work from the Art Team was on display including some impressive paintings by Will Kitchener that were the highlight for many visitors. Other pieces included drawings and paintings in many different styles, from air brushing to messy but carefully composed scribble drawings. The offering from the Graphics Team was equally impressive, showcasing digital skills to complement the physical pieces created.
Visitors left many positive comments and feedback and are looking forward to next year's exhibition already. A huge thank you to Mr Ampah-Korsah, Miss Nicholls and Mr Clayton for their help along with the current Year 12 Art students, who helped set up and bring down the exhibition.
