Early February saw the latest leg of the ever-important house competition - the House Basketball events for Years 7 and 8. As has become the norm for inter-house sport at Challoner’s, the 10 minute games were closely fought.

In it goes! - Brendan Frank, Year 7

In order to allow as many players as possible to participate, each year was split into A and B competitions. The Year 7A event saw Foxell claim the honours after edging out Thorne, with Pearson completing the podium positions. The B competition saw A winners Foxell follow home Rayner, with Pearson once again completing the medal-winning positions.

However in Year 8 it was time for Pearson to claim the honours in a tense A competition, followed by the consistent Foxell and Holman making their first appearance on the podium in this year's competitions.

House Basketball was once again a fun and exciting event for all boys involved - a special thanks goes to the PE Team for organising the event.
