The class of 2016 at Dr Challoner’s Grammar School have produced an excellent set of GCSE results. All students achieved at least 5 A*-C grades, including English and Maths, while 83% achieved at least 5 A* or A grades. 73% of all exams taken were graded A* or A, 42% were graded A* and 51 students attained a clean sweep of A* and A grades. Archie Coombs, Tom Franks and Joe Turrell gained an A* in all 10 of their GCSEs.

This terrific set of results is testament to the hard work put in over the years by the students and their teachers. Completing a set of GCSEs in a wide range of subjects is a challenging task and we are delighted with the way in which the cohort have risen to that challenge. GCSEs are an important stepping stone and it is wonderful to see our students ready to move on to the next stage in their education. Well done, all!
